How to Add Users

MyGeotab’s user management system is very intuitive and easy to edit. To get started on adding new users, click on the ‘Administration’ section followed by ‘Users’, then click ‘Add’. For a step by step walkthrough on creating users in MyGeotab, click the video below. 

 

How to Edit Users

Editing User Options allows a user to make changes to their profile such as time zone, date and time format, or map settings. For steps on how to edit a User’s profile after its been created, click on the video below. 

 

How to Mass Edit Users

In MyGeotab, unique users can have customized settings such as date and time format, measurement units, local time zone, language, security clearances, data access & group reporting, etc. Mass editing can be used to apply these settings and make changes to multiple users at the same time. Security Clearances

Security clearances give users access to different levels of data within your database. The user can choose from six types of security clearances, or customize your own based on your operational needs. Users can be categorized as Administrators, Supervisors, Default Users, MyGeotab Drive App Users, View Only & Nothing. Learn how to set up these security clearances for users and create your own security clearance using the video below.

Automated Reports

Automating reports is a great way to maintain awareness of crucial fleet data while taking away the need to constantly monitor your database.
